TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the thing that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
